What We Believe

We believe, without reservation, that Christ is the eternal Son of God, the world’s only Savior. We accept the miracles of the Virgin Birth and the Bodily Resurrection to be true.

We believe and hold to the Bible as the only rule of faith and practice for the church.              (2 Timothy 3:16-17) We are willing to unite with anybody on the Bible and the bible alone. (John 17) This means unity in essentials, grants, liberty in opinion, and requires love in all things.

We believe in Jesus Christ as the only creed prescribed in the Bible for our adherence. (Matthew 16:16, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 13:8, 1 John 5:1)

We preach Bible doctrine only. The Bible is explicit in what is necessary unto Salvation. This we preach and defend. (Jude 3)

We follow the Bible for Immersion of penitent believers into Christ for the remission of sins and as antecedent to the reception of the Holy Spirit.

We take part of the Lord’s Supper as a weekly appointment with Christ.
(Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30, Acts 20:7 and 2:42)

We call ourselves Christians only, not the only Christians.
(Acts 11:26, Peter 4:16)
